2112 Inc. is a public charitable organisation dedicated to collaborations at the intersection of art and science. We explore and celebrate the connectivity between music, architecture, medicine, mathematics, and the visual, literary and performing arts. In addition to hosting events, we produce publications, present awards, host residencies and orchestrate critical conversations internationally.
The Derek Parker Scholarship is awarded by 2112 to a project that honours the legacy of architect Derek Parker, FAIA, RIBA. Scholarship recipients Eletta Naldi, architect and research fellow at the University of Florence, and Jack Sardeson, architect in London, proposed writing a children's book. EHD2025 marks the official launch of their book, Talisman and the Dove, published by Mandragora Firenze and endorsed by The Meyer Children’s Hospital Foundation. The accompanying audiobook features an original soundtrack by Benedict Collins Rice. Our hope is to make this book available to children and families in hospital and healthcare settings.
