Australasian Association of Health Planners (AAHP)

The Australasian Association of Health Planners (AAHP) is the accrediting body for health planners across Australia, Aotearoa/New Zealand and the South Pacific. We represent professionals working in health systems, service planning and infrastructure, and are progressing formal recognition pathways for Health Architects. Each member is assessed through a rigorous, peer-reviewed Capability Framework that verifies qualifications, experience and professional standards.

AAHP promotes engagement with accredited health planners who bring a specialised skill set and distinct body of knowledge. In increasingly complex and resource-constrained environments, our members drive strategic system transformation, service optimisation, and technology-enabled health infrastructure—bringing greater certainty to future care delivery and improved health outcomes.

We offer value to our members through professional recognition, monthly forums, peer exchange, thought leadership, and the development of association-led and university-linked education and research initiatives. AAHP welcomes collaboration with health planners and industry partners worldwide seeking shared learning and internationally relevant expertise.
